New Year New Me!!
Well it's been a while since I have posted anything so I thought I would post something now. I can't believe that it's already February. Christmas came and went so quickly that it all seems like a blur. It took a long time for winter to actually hit us but it hit us with a vengeance. It has been so cold and now I am longing for the cold to go away and the warmth to hit us! Being somewhere tropical would be awesome right now!!!!
Just like the title says......it's a new year and the new me is here. I started a job this past week and so far it has been fun. There is alot to remember but I know I can do it and I know it will help with my attitude and make me feel more human! I am tired but it's a good tired and I have met some really nice people who have been very helpful. I think I am going to enjoy working and being among adults......it's been almost 11yrs since I worked and got paid for it! I have loved being home with my children and do not regret one single decision I made.
Well that is all for now......hope everyone has a great 2007.

And So It Begins Again......
Well here we are half way into the second week of school! The weather has been really cool and today it has been very rainy! They are telling us by the weekend we will be wearing shorts again as the forecast high is for 24 on Friday and 26 on Saturday!!
We succeeded in surprising Mom and Dad yet again. We had a Surprise Open House On Sept. 10th at Carruthers Creek Golf Club and it was a great success. It was a tough job keeping that secret all summer long but we did it......yes....even the kids didn't blow it!!! It was well worth it as there are not too many who reach the milestone of 50yrs together!! We are so proud of you Mom and Dad and we love you very much. We missed Stephanie but everyone else was there and it was great to have the whole family together. Lots of pictures were taken and I can't wait to see them.
Ok well that's all for now........trying to get back into a routine has been hard and may take a few weeks but everything will be fine!

School's Out For Summer!!!!
Well here it is, the first week of summer holidays and we have been vegging. We were at the cottage for the July 1st long weekend and we had fun and we are all very tired. The weather was ok but very windy. We had a storm on Saturday night and it poured. I thought we were suppose to have a hot, dry summer.....oh well it is only the first week of July so let's hope for drier weather.
Josh went to Wonderland today with his cousins; Rob, Mark and David and he had a blast. Poor Holly....she has never been to Wonderland. I have promised to take her there sometime. I haven't been to Wonderland myself since Josh was 3. I would like to go as well. Tomorrow and Friday will be spent getting him ready for camp next week. He seems to be looking forward to it and I hope he has fun. I think the girls and I are going to stay at the cottage most of next week as well. There's not much for them to do in the city and I really don't have money to take them anywhere so the cottage is the best place to hang. At least there they have someone to play with and there is always something to do. I am just glad that I don't have to live around the clock and can come and go as I please.
Well, I guess that is all for now. Before we know it the summer will be over and the kids will be back at school and it will all begin again. I love summer and plan on enjoying every minute of it this year.

Wow....here I am again and it's June. I can't believe that summer is almost here. The kids have 3 weeks left of school and then it's off to the cottage!! I think I am going to have to get into shape before that happens!! (That should be fun!! He he!)
Kayrene and Scot's wedding went really well and was very nice. Cameron and Cathy invited us back to their house afterwards and it was a really great time had by all. We missed Kyle and Stephanie and can't wait for their return but hope all is well and they are enjoying their time. The next big thing we have to look after is Grandma and Pappa's 50th Anniversary. Rae, Cathy, Kayrene and I are trying to get something organized and are hoping it goes off without any problems. We don't have much time so it will be a rush to get the invites out to everyone but it's worth it.

Just me.......Again!!
Hey everyone!
Well I have taken a leap forward and decided to become a Creative Memories consultant. I am scared and excited. This is all new for me and I'm not really sure what to expect but the only way I can fail is to give up!! I know it's not going to be easy at first but I really enjoy scrapbooking so why not do something that I enjoy and get paid for it?? The thought of going out to a job really scares me.....but at least this job won't require me to have a new wardrobe. My unit leader, Tonya is great and she is very supportive so what more can I ask for?? If anyone wants to help me out by having a class then by all means....please do!!
Ok....so that's really all for now. Oh ya, I hope Kyle and Stephanie are having a great time and I'm happy that they are able to spend 3 months together in New Zealand. We miss you guys and love you too. Can't wait to see you!! That's all for now......till next time........see ya!!!!

Spring has sprung finally!!
Well here I am again. I can't believe that it's almost the end of April. We had Easter dinner with the family the weekend before Easter and there were 3 very important people missing and it felt weird. Krista, Kyle and Stephanie....you guys missed a great dinner but we missed you. I'm jealous that Kyle gets to go to New Zealand but glad that he is able to spend some time with Stephanie. We will miss him but look forward to seeing him when he comes home.
I am so glad that the nice weather decided to show up for us. Baseball starts in 2 weeks and I am sooo not ready. The kids are already counting down the days till they can go to the cottage. I have to say...I am looking forward to the cottage too. Only 10 weeks left till summer vacation. Wow....that really isn't that long. I really shouldn't wish my life away cause life is way too short!! On that note.....I think that I should get back to cleaning.....oh joy, oh bliss!! Till next time.....chow!

Hey everyone! It's been a while since I have posted anything here but there really hasn't been too much going on!! I am quite happy that it has gotten warmer. I'm not a real fan of Spring because of the mud and everything is really dull but it does mean that summer is just around the corner.
Well today was one of those days......I went to the grocery store this afternoon and as I was getting ready to leave the parking lot, the wheel on the van broke......yes I was quite upset and shaken but I was glad that I was in a parking lot and not on the highway or a main road. I do have to say though, there was this really sweet lady who came over to me and just stood and talked to me and said she would stay with me if I wanted her to. She and her husband went into Tim Horton's and doesn't she walk back and bring me a coffee. She was a Godsend and her name was Jill. I hope that one day I can do the same for someone else. I only wish I could repay her for being so helpful!!! Thank goodness my Dad came to my rescue..........you are awesome Dad!! I'm not looking forward to how much the repair is going to cost but it's better to be fixed then have to worry about whether it's going to fall apart while driving with my kids!!
Well that's it for me for now.......I am definately going to be enjoying the weather from now on......let's face it we could be getting tons of snow!!! Hope you are all keeping well. So this is me.....signing off for now.......chow!!! CIAO!!!
